SUNAHARA Satoru

Graduated from Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music in 1983. He went to Germany (Munich) to study in 1985, and completed his master course in Munich Music University in 1987. He completed the master course of Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music in 1988, and registered for doctors program of the same university. He is rated highly such as receiving a prize in the music competition of Japan in 1984 and in the International Piano Competition of Porto city in 1987. He is active in performing as soloist and in chamber music, mainly in Tokyo. At the present he is an Associate Professor in Kyoto City University of Arts and a lecturer in Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music.
